Two class meetings: one to sculpt your mask and let it dry, and the second class will be for decorating your mask and taking it home!
Sundays October 18 and October 25, 2026 from 1pm-3pm
Create a paper mache mask just in time for Halloween! Add your mask to your costume, or use it as part of your spooky decor. This all ages workshop is designed for ages 4+ to come create together with their families, or if you’re an adult, come create together with friends! Adults participating with a child must register and pay the class fee. Children must attend with an adult.
All materials are included in the class fee.
Materials include:
upcycled paper materials
adhesive mixture for paper mache
molds and forms to create masks
paint and paintbrushes
decorative materials to personalize your mask and add details
Special rates for multiple participants taking the class together!
About teaching artist Eugenia Moreeva:
Eugenia Moreeva is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, originally from Moscow, Russia. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Working across painting, sculpture, performance, and hybrid media, Moreeva’s practice addresses themes of embodiment, isolation, and human connection.
Her work examines how individual lives and personal experience unfold within larger social and environmental systems. A recurring element in her practice is a deliberate use of softness as a visual and conceptual strategy, approaching vulnerability and emotional intensity through gentleness rather than confrontation.
